Austin Website Design News: Firefox Introduces New Demo Tool for Responsive Web Design

One of the most famous developers of Mozilla, Christian Heilmann recently launched a video which brings out the benefits of responsive mode tool used by Firefox. This responsive tool will help the website design Austin professionals while they are looking to give speedy outputs to their clients. The work process of the Austin website design professionals was significantly hampered by the earlier settings. Earlier on the professionals had to resize the browser window to test the effectiveness of responsive design. When the browser window was resized it would narrow the total design and some of the options such as icons and address bars would be inaccessible. Such a set up made it exceedingly difficult for the designers to ascertain the heights and widths of the viewports.

In the latest versions of Firefox the responsive mode can be accessed by visiting the Web Developer option and then Responsive Mode. The design is placed inside the browser window aiding the designers to test their designs quickly. With this option the Austin website design professionals will not have to resize the entire browser window; rather they can resize the page within this window. There is also a pop-up window that provides required details regarding the viewport’s dimensions. This pop-up window contains the popular dimensions of mobile devices and tablets and with the help of an adjacent button the design can be rotated with a single click. The pop-up menu has made a short work of CSS styling for various tablet and mobile models.

Heilmann has further claimed that there is further aid coming for the website design Austin professionals. There will be significant improvements in Inspect Element view. The designers will be able to select any element and view the details of its dimensions. There will be options to select a dimension, border, margin and padding for the design in this new development. The Austin website design professionals will also be able to simulate various elements using this development such as active, hover and copying the outer or inner HTML. As revealed by Heilmann this new feature will be available with Firefox 15 after its launch in the month of August.

As you can see Firefox has made a short work of responsive web design testing for the Austin website design professionals.
